What is Citylight Cares?

A team of volunteers that provide spiritual care and support to members in the body experiencing difficulty. Citylight Cares is a Light Team that meets bi-weekly for training and encouragement. We believe Jesus is essential to the healing journey as the Cure Provider as Care Partners and Care Receivers meet together.

  • Care Partner’s provide care to church members through prayer, active listening, and empathy.

  • Citylight Cares is for any Christian at Citylight in need of support and care. No mature your spiritual maturity, all Christians may find themselves in a difficult time of life or circumstance which extra support is needed.

  • Care sessions are weekly or biweekly meetings between a Care Provider and Care Receiver (in-person or virtual). Care Sessions will be focused on active listening, prayer, and biblical encouragement.

  • We do not provide professional counseling. We hav a list of local professionals for referrals as needed.

Please reach out through e-mail to Kristy@wearecitylight.org. You will then be matched with one or two care partners. Care sessions are every week or every other week for one hour each. 

Are you interested in serving with Citylight Cares?

Please reach out through e-mail to Michelle@wearecitylight.org. We provide training for anyone that would like to serve in this way and community building through bi-weekly team meetings.
