What’s Your Choice? – 9/5/20

Edis Valenti

Psalms 119:30 – “I have chosen to be faithful; I have determined to live by your regulations.”

The Psalmist is pleading for God to lead him. He is down and has completely surrendered himself to God. Now he wants to get his strength through God’s word (vs. 28).

Following God is a choice, but not an easy choice. If you chose to put your faith in him it will change your whole perspective of life. You will live your life thinking more like him and aiming to be more like him. He wants that relationship with us. We just have to surrender and allow ourselves to be led by the Holy Spirit and make that choice to live by his regulations. It is easier said than done, but what a wonderful feeling it is to be loved by God and to be called his children. Are you ready to change your life for the better?

Prayer:

Oh Lord, you have shown me how wonderful you are. You have filled my heart with love, compassion and understanding, and fear. I’m scared of the thought to be rejected by you so I long for your love, your word and approval every day. Lord I pray that those who don’t know you will one day know what it feels like to be loved by you. I pray father that we as a church can continue to reach people in your name so they too may know that choosing you is choosing life with you forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
