Sunday COVID Update!

Hey Citylight!

We have decided to have church at home this Sunday, November 29th, in light of current COVID-19 cases and with an abundance of caution for all who may be with family for Thanksgiving. The service will be available on YouTube at 9 and 11. Join us in the chat! This is a great opportunity to engage with others in your home this holiday weekend. Also we hope this allows us to go into December ready for all the great things God has planned!

This week two people from our Citylight family have tested positive for COVID-19, making this decision more clear.  We are working to make sure everyone knows who was in close contact with them recently.

Lord willing, we will resume regular Citylight services at church the following Sunday, December 6th. This is the plan so count on it unless you hear again from us about any changes.  As I have said before, we will notify you if anything changes and will always be clear with the information we have.

We appreciate prayers for the health and well-being of the people in our church, for wisdom in decision making, and for the community impact we may have this holiday season. What we know for sure is God is still in control and we still have the great commission to accomplish!  Let’s stay focused on that, even as the methods may change. As we say often, services are a launching pad not a landing place

In John 10:10 Jesus says, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”  I’m praying the Lord gives each of you open doors to bring the life of Jesus to your families over the holidays. Go be the light of the world!
