Spirit Led – 5/30/20

Silas Finnegan

Acts 8:29-31 – And the Spirit said to Philip, “Go over and join this chariot.” So Philip ran to him and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet and asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?”  And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

We have the most powerful Kingdom-building tool living in us; it’s not a solo mission. The Spirit can lead you to do crazy things, but it can also lead you to do the most simple and necessary things, like helping someone understand Scripture. Asking to be led by the Spirit daily supercharges how we spread the Gospel. By listening to His guidance and by being obedient to His will, God can do wonders through his Spirit for people around us.

Pray that we would be a people who are always led by the Spirit to serve His kingdom.
