Forgiven and Ready – 11/11/20

Psalm 32

God desires you, and this includes all of your emotional, financial, and sinful baggage. God wants to forgive you of your sinful baggage, but first we need to approach God with a repentant heart. When I pray; I usually bring forth my sinful struggles, and I ask forgiveness from God. Then I repent from that sin. During my life I need to constantly ask God for forgiveness due to me finding happiness in worldly things. This makes me further realize how truly sinful I am. Psalm 32:5 writes, “I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my inquiry; I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,’ and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.” I strive to always make God my hiding place, and I approach Him with a sincere heart that is forthright with my sin. And then I can accept His wonderful forgiveness. I find myself truly at peace when I go to the Lord with my needs, and repent of all of my sin. Always remember that you are forgiven so that you can be ready to do great things for the Lord!

God, you are so great, and I am so loved by you. Help me to remember that. Please forgive us all of our sins, and that we as a church come to you with repentant hearts so that we can grow in our relationship with you. Amen.
