13 Mar Be Blameless – 3/13/21
Proverbs 15:16 – “Better is a little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble with it.“
I can recall a time where the place I was working had a culture that was less than honest. Their practice was seen as a necessity in order to be reimbursed for certain services. The work was being done, however not to the standard required for reimbursement. I was convicted that I should not participate, however, this also caused me anxiety because it meant going against the culture. I had to hold strong to my identity as a Christian and I could just remember the phrase “remain blameless” from what I knew of Scripture. God gives us promises that surpasses anything man can ever offer, and when we are confronted with compromising situations, we can have peace when we fear God and glorify Him with our decisions.
Thank you, God, for your promises and your guide book of life to help direct our ways. May we honor you in everything we do and fear you above all else. May we be blameless in your sight. Amen.
